 Ph.D. in Geophysics

 Joost received received his MSc degree in Applied Geophysics at Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands. Currently he is working as a PhD student on "Seismic Interferometry for Reservoir Characterization" at Delft University under Kees Wapenaar and Evert Slob. His major focus is to replace cross-correlation by multi-dimensional deconvolution as to improve radiation characteristics of virtual sources in seismic interferometry due to imperfect illumination conditions. His hobbies include hiking, traveling, world politics and the search for moments of melancholy.
