Some Numerical Tests on the 2.5-D Viscoelastic Code in a Single Well Model

ABSTRACT

Some preliminary numerical tests on the 2.5-D viscoelastic code are computed in a single well model. The tests show that the 2.5-D viscoelastic code is very stable, but sometimes dispersion can be found in the single well case if the explosive source is located near the borehole boundary.
