Waveform Tomography
At UTAM, we develop algorithms for time-domain waveform tomography. Recently, a multiscale method has been developed in the time domain. Here is some main advantages of time-domain waveform tomography: it is flexible, early-arrival muting windows can be easily utilized, surface topography can be naturally treated, no need for a solution of large, sparse linear systems.
